Subject: Gratitude

Thanks from the bottom of my heart to the top of my soul to the license holders, all concerned financial interests in connection with the commercial release of the award-winning recording of this concert, and IA Grateful Dead Forum.

This show is of course a top five essential to any Deadhead's collection. Sad but true, in the course of my divorce, my partner and former best friend (though note, we are back to be going friends now) ended up with out entire tapes collection. You don't want to know how that came down...

So anyway, here and now, we all have this via the library: a way better recording. Silver linings, huh.

Subject: The Closing of Winterland

This was wonderful concert and I am so glad that I could be a part of it. I had no idea at that time that we were making history!
